Volunteer with Los Ayudantes - 2024-25 School Year

Volunteering one day a week is all that's needed to make a real difference in the lives of deserving RWC middle schoolers - but more than one day or period would be even better!   You will become an important, trusted adult in the students’ lives when you make this commitment to tutor them throughout the year.

​Tutoring Requirements:
We ask that before volunteering, you make sure you can commit to tutoring for the entire school year (through early June). 
  • 18 and over.
  • In-person volunteering requires proof of Covid vaccination and TB assessment.
  • Virtual volunteers must reside in California.
  • No special foreign language skills are needed, but proficiency in English is required. 
  • Training and orientation will be provided. 
  • Background check via LiveScan (the approximately $70 fee can be reimbursed or donated).  ​

Period 7:  2:00pm-3:15pm  - 6th Grade

Thursday
Period 2:   9:03am-10:18am - 6th Grade
Period 4:  10:33am-11:11am  - 7th Grade
Recess for Period 4
Period 4 continued:  11:54am-12:31pm - 7th Grade
Period 6:  12:34pm-1:50pm - 6th Grade
